Within the boundaries of our ranch, there are 2 ½ miles of hiking trails along Grouse Creek, wild trout fishing, ¾ mile long Gong Garden Trail, Corral Cook-out area with Tepee and the enjoyment of several gardens including orchids, vegetables, berries and currents. The mountain flower gardens are a “must see”.

The following activities are available during your stay:

Catch and Release fishing on Grouse Creek Reserve

  • Includes guide, fishing equipment, flies, bait, etc.
  • Clean, cook and eat (Brook Trout only) on one of the camp-out areas.

Fly fishing on the Teton or Snake Rivers

  • Arranged through Teton Valley Lodge or Three Rivers.

Hiking

  • Grouse Creek Reserve
  • Teton Creek Hike
  • Teton Canyon (a gentle 3 mile hike with stunning views to the trailhead over the top of the Tetons)
  • Grand Targhee Ski area (can also rent trail bikes) that has miles and miles of trails to choose from depending on your skill and energy level. Start from the top of the Ski Lift and “take in” the views.

What To Expect


Pick up Food

Every guest room has its own kitchen and fridge. It's a lot of work for us to prepare food for every meal, so we kindly ask that guests pick up their own food during their drive into town.

We reccomend Broulim's Supermarket located at 240 S Main St, Driggs, ID. Broulims is open daily from 7:00AM - 11:00PM and closed on Sundays.

Prepare for Weather

Weather can fluctuate greatly between day and night. Please check the 5 day forcast and pack accordingly

Drink Water for Altitude

Guests who do not super hydrate themselves often experience altitude sickness upon arrival. Tetonia is located at over 6,200 feet above sea level.

  • Idaho Falls, Idaho Commercial Airport - 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Grouse Creek Reserve
